Carla Gaspar Primavera is the Superintendent of the Energy Area in BNDES Brazilian
Development Bank. She is responsible for the teams that overlook all financings for
power generation, transmission and distribution projects. Her teams also coordinate the
relationship between BNDES and other public and private institutions regarding these
projects. She is a BNDES tenure employee since 2000. Previous to this position she was
a lawyer within BNDES, during such period she developed a broad experience in
leading legal teams in analyzing the regulatory, contractual, corporate, financial and
environmental aspects of the projects, always aiming to achieve the long-term credit
goals in a sustainable manner.
She holds a law degree from UERJ, and has an MBA in Business Economics Law from
the Fundação Getúlio Vargas.

Received Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award Who's Who of Engineering.
He specializes in Oil & Gas Business Management, including Petrochemicals, enhancing Hydrocarbons' Value by Integrating Petrochemicals and Refining, and Future Energy Trends. Also, Supply Chain Value Management, International Oil Supply, Sales & Marketing, Trading, Risk Management, Petrochemicals.
Hameed holds a Double-Master's Degree from Stanford University (USA), i.e., MS in Petroleum Engineering and MS in Business Management, and bachelor's in chemical engineering with Petroleum Refining from the IIT-Varanasi, India. He is a Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSCM, USA). His research in the Enhanced Oil Recovery Research project for the US Department of Energy at Stanford University contributed to reviving the oldest (120+ years) oil field globally, which is still producing - Kern River oil field in California.
Hameed moved into corporate planning while at Getty Oil/Texaco, specializing in corporate investments and diversifying Getty Oil's portfolio. Investment analysis he contributed to included one of Getty's most successful ventures in refining and petrochemicals. This responsibility was followed by 30 years with Saudi Aramco, working at various multinational joint-venture projects in the US, UK, Germany, Egypt, & Saudi ponsibilityArabia supporting the management of Oil & Gas, International Operations, Strategic Planning, and Petrochemical business.
As a Head of Marketing Services Division, Crude Oil Sales Department, he has conducted global crude oil refined products sales and marketing. He has supported Saudi Aramco's strategic planning, worldwide oil business, oil refineries, petrochemicals, and international joint ventures.
Member of SPE, AIChE, IAEE, and ASHRM. Honored as a President's Scout with the prestigious certificate of merit and ethical conduct from the President of India, Mr. V.V. Giri.
He has trained/consulted in the petroleum and petrochemical industries in worldwide locations. Published technical papers on Supply Change Management, Enhanced Oil Recovery, Integrated Planning, Gas Market Outlook, and Reservoir Modelling in the oil & gas industry. He has presided in several international Oil & Gas petroleum conferences and seminars and was recognized in recent International Oil & Gas, and Petrochemical Conferences.
