Daniel Lamassa is the Undersecretary of Oil, Natural Gas and Energy of the Secretariat for Economic Development, Energy and International Relations (SEDEERI) of the Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro, a state that is the largest producer of oil (81,3%), the largest producer of natural gas (62,4%) and the only state with nuclear energy generation of the country, in addition to great potential for energy generation through solar photovoltaic sources, offshore wind, green and blue hydrogen, and biogas. Daniel participates with the State Government creating public policies to improve the business environment in attracting and consolidating companies in the oil, natural gas and energy sector in the State.
A Petroleum Engineer from PUC-Rio, Daniel has an international master's degree in Oil and Gas Trade Management from Regent's University London and a postgraduate degree in Project Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas. With professional experience in the energy field, he has worked in an energy consulting company and in a transport company that uses Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) as fuel.
He has articles published in national and international magazines, in addition to speaking at various events focused on the oil, natural gas and energy sector.

International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA)
Ricardo Gorini is an economist, holds an MBA in Finance and MSc. and DSc. in Energy. He joined IRENA, in 2018 as Senior Program Officer – REmap, responsible for the Renewable Energy roadmaps program at global, regional and country level. He is co-author of the IRENA global roadmap series including the latest World Energy Transitions Outlook 2050. Previously he has worked in the financial market and mining sector, as well as advisor for energy policies and regulation in Brazil, including as the Director of the Brazilian Energy Office (EPE) in charge of the Brazilian energy planning. He was also involved in the Brazilian NDC formulation and he coordinated the energy group of the Brazilian Climate Change Forum. He was the sherpa for Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) and Mission Innovation (MI).

Ieda Gomes has a broad range of expertise in the natural gas and energy and infrastructure industries with an international career spanning 35 years in the public and private sectors. She was a group leader with BP plc in various roles such as Country President BP Brasil, Vice-President New Ventures Middle East and South Asia, Vice President BP Solar and Regulatory Affairs. Prior to BP Ieda was the CEO of the largest gas utility in Brazil, the Sao Paulo Gas Company.
Ieda is an independent director of The Institute of Directors (UK), Saint Gobain (France), Exterran Corporation (USA), Prumo Logistica (Brazil), and the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain (UK). She is a senior visiting research fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies (UK), member of the Advisory Board of Crystol Energy and Senior Adviser and member of the Advisory Board of Fundação Getúlio Vargas’ FGV Energia (Brazil). Ieda is a founding director of WILL Latam (Women in Leadership in Latin America) an NGO aiming to promote gender diversity and leadership in companies in Brazil and Latin America and Access for Women in Energy, a platform to provide visibility for female speakers in events and conferences.
She has a degree in Chemical Engineering, post-graduation in Environmental Engineering (Polytechnic School of Lausanne) and MSc in Energy (University of São Paulo).

BUSINESS EXPERIENCE: Mr. Rodrigo Costa Lima joined Petrobras in 2005 having held several managerial roles in the Exploration & Production, Gas & Power, and Strategy areas including Executive Gas and Energy Manager between June 2019 and January 2021. Prior to that, Mr. Rodrigo Costa Lima was the executive manager for Strategy. He has also managed activities related to exploration and production. Additionally, Mr. Rodrigo Costa Lima was chairman of the Board of Directors of some Petrobras subsidiaries.

He has worked at Petrobras since 2004, where he also held technical and management positions in the areas of thermoelectric operation, natural gas supply and logistics, commercialization and marketing of natural gas, LNG and energy. Ovidio Quintana joined ENGIE in 2014. He held the position of Contract Manager and Deputy Construction Director at GNLS Uruguay from 2014 to 2015, SPE formed by GDF Suez and Marubeni. In 2016, he moved to Brazil to act as Senior Business Development Manager in charge of Gas Infrastructures at Engie Brasil Participações (EBP). He participated in the business development team dedicated to TAG acquisition process in multidisciplinary disciplines, leading the market studies and regulatory evaluation.
Along his 26 years career in the energy market in Brazil and abroad, he took different positions (Contractual, Commercial & Foreign Trade affairs) in the gas industry and
electrical sector (power generation and T&D), acting as Project Manager and Erection Commissioning Manager at AREVA and ALSTOM for 7 years before joining Engie, with focus on North Africa and Middle East markets.

Livia Amorim holds a LLM in Petroleum Taxation and Finance by the CEPMLP – University of Dundee. She worked in Law Firms specialized in power and oil and gas sector in Brazil and as a foreign associate at the oil and gas practice team of CMS Cameron Mckenna in Aberdeen, in the United Kingdom. Livia has been working with national and international clients, providing legal advice on regulatory issues, sales of infrastructure assets and contracts both in the oil and gas and power sectors. She was also a researcher at the Center for Regulation of Infrastructure at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV CERI) and a Lecturer at Instituto Brasiliense de Direito Público – IDP and is currently a lecturer at PUC-Rio and Insper.

Fisoye Delano is President & CEO, at Delphi Ventura Group in Houston, Texas USA. Delphi Ventura Group provides advisory and capacity development services to governments and the energy industry. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Centre for Petroleum, Energy Economics and Law (CPEEL), University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He designed and teaches the postgraduate course in Natural Gas Economics for Masters and PhD students.
He has over 40 years’ experience in the petroleum industry. He started his career as a Wellsite Petroleum Engineer in Shell, Warri and then worked for Texaco for 20 years in the US, Trinidad and Tobago and Nigeria.
He then joined NNPC as the Group General Manager, Corporate Planning and Development Division of NNPC in Abuja. At NNPC, he led the commercial negotiations for the LNG projects in Nigeria namely OKLNG, Brass LNG and NLNG Train 7. He negotiated the OKLNG Project Development Agreement (PDA) and the OKLNG Offtake Agreement. He was the Team Lead for the sale of NNPC equity of OKLNG production through a global competitive bid process and he negotiated the LNG Sales & Purchase Agreements (SPA). Engr. Delano was later appointed as the Managing Director and CEO of Nigerian National Petroleum Development Company Ltd (NPDC).
Prior to joining NNPC, Engr. Delano was a Senior Researcher at the University of Houston. At the university he provided leadership for the LNG research consortium on “Commercial Frameworks for LNG in North America”.
Engr. Delano has authored and co-authored technical publications on natural gas and LNG including the Natural Gas and LNG Handbook – Understanding Natural Gas and LNG Options, sponsored by the US Department of Energy and published in February 2017. He frequently makes presentations on aspects of natural gas and LNG at industry conferences worldwide. He also teaches industry petroleum and energy industry short courses where energy transition matters are routinely discussed.

Andre Xavier Lima is CEO of GasBridge Storage where he leads the asset acquisition and development of underground gas storage projects in Brazil.
GasBridge Storage has announced its intention to start providing gas storage services as soon as early 2024 and it is on final stages of acquiring a large field to convert into UGS.
Andre has almost 30 years of experience in energy, both O&G and power, working as engineer, consultant, executive and entrepreneur.
He found a development firm, ETC EnergyTrends where he worked as consultant and project developer since 2006. There he was responsible for the idealizing and developing the first Underground Gas Storage project proposed for Brazil in 2007 acting as CEO, COO and board member at Stogas/Santana between 2007 and 2017.
He also worked as partner at Mirow&Co./PowerHaus energy practice, and Senior Associate at McKinsey&Co. His previous experience also includes energy risk management and trading at the Lower Colorado River Authority (Texas, USA) .

Rogério Manso is a Civil Engineer with graduate degrees in Oil Marketing and Logistics and Business Administration. Sylvie D’Apote is Executive Director for Natural Gas at the Brazilian Institute for Petroleum and Gas (IBP). She has an Economics Degree from the University “La Sapienza”, Rome, Italy, and a Master's Degree in Energy Technology from the Imperial College, London, UK.
Prior to joining the IBP in May 2021, Ms. D’Apote accumulated more than 25 years of experience as an oil & gas specialist and energy consultant, working for international and Brazilian consulting firms and in international organizations such as the OECD and the IEA.
In 2013, Sylvie founded the consulting firm PRYSMA E&T Consultores, which she headed until April of this year. Prior to that, between 2003 and 2013, Sylvie served as Deputy Director of Gas for the Southern Cone at IHS-CERA and as Managing Partner at Gas Energy.
